From Tahrir to Tyneside...

Solidarity in Newcastle
Here is the publicity info for a meeting in June, which I'm looking forward to speaking at:

Tahrir to Tyneside: reporting from revolutionary Egypt
Wednesday 15 June, 7-8.30pm
Salsa Cafe, 89 Westgate Road, Newcastle NE1 4AE

The international 'Long Live the Arab Revolution!' conference in Cairo, 3-5 June 2011, is a revolutionary summit in a revolutionary year.

Alex Snowdon (Counterfire) and a Scottish socialist activist will be reporting back from the conference and discussing the issues of revolution and imperialism in Egypt and the Arab world.

Please get along to learn more, be inspired, and take part in discussing the lessons of Egypt's extraordinary revolution.

Hosted by Counterfire. Free entry - all welcome.
