After 26 March: what next to build a mass movement?
Open Meeting - Council Chamber, Gateshead Civic Centre
Wednesday 30 March - 7pm
The 26 March national demonstration, called by the TUC in opposition to public sector cuts, is expected to be a huge show of unity and resolve in defiance of the ConDem coalition. It will mobilise hundreds of thousands of people from every section of society.
What happens next? That’s what we’ll be discussing in this meeting, open to all, just a few days after the demonstration. This is the first opportunity on Tyneside for activists and supporters to come together to plot the way ahead after the 26 March demo.
A number of representatives of different organisations will make brief contributions to provide context and offer a few ideas. But mostly this will be a chance for you to discuss, exchange ideas and agree on next steps.
Organised by Coalition of Resistance Tyne and Wear.
ALL WELCOME - please be there and invite others.
