John McDonnell: "on the day of the vote we want mass action all over the country"

"Let's talk about tuition fees. It looks as though the vote will come before Christmas. In the coming weeks we have a key period of activity. It means eyeballing, protesting, lobbying and hounding every MP that we think will vote in favour of increasing tuition fees, both in their constituencies and in Parliament.

Yes, on the day of the vote we want mass action all over the country - not just students but everybody. The message to Clegg is this: abstention is not good enough. You promised opposition."
