Vigils to mark 100th UK soldier killed in Afghanistan this year

There will be vigils in many cities and towns across Britain in the next couple of days. Stop the War groups are calling vigils and 'naming the dead' events to commemorate today's news of the 100th British soldier to be killed in Afghanistan in 2009. This has been by far the bloodiest year for UK troops since the invasion in October 2001.
