The jury's out on the matter of artistic merit, but we can agree this takes the protest song in a new direction. Never mind over 1000 students protesting at Vince Cable in Oxford - watch this and realise Newcastle is in the frontline of resistance to cuts and fees.
I'm a Northumbria graduate myself (Drama, 2002) and proud to witness the university's student body making a truly *unique* contribution to the struggle. You won't get this at the LSE.
