On 3 March Reel News return to the Star and Shadow in Newcastle, to show their new film about the protests at the Copenhagen climate summit. It follows a similar event in north London, which was supported by a wide range of campaign groups and organisations.
A call has been issued 'for a Red/Green coalition to help build support for this event'. As well as a successful film event there's the potential for this to strengthen a currently fragmented climate movement in Tyneside for the longer term. The direction of the movement after the breakthrough Copenhagen protests is currently the vital issue for campaigners.
