Newcastle event: Defeating the 1% - a short course in rebellion

I'll be speaking on the Arab revolutions, and their global significance, at an event hosted by Newcastle Counterfire called Defeating the 1% - a short course in rebellion.

Saturday 16 June, 12-5pm

Sessions on:

- the working class and protest movements today

- confronting racism, oppression and war

- revolutions past, present and future

Speakers include: video blogger and campaigner Sanum Ghafoor, PCS activist and chair of Glasgow Coalition of Resistance Cat Boyd, blogger and regular Counterfire contributor Alex Snowdon.
