Update from Tyne and Wear Coalition of Resistance:

Tyne and Wear Coalition of Resistance has 5 coaches going to the TUC-organised national march and rally on 26 March, when hundreds of thousands of people will voice opposition to public spending cuts.

A coach from Hexham and four coaches from Newcastle (one including a pick-up from Durham) are being organised by Coalition of Resistance. Over 140 people have so far reserved seats on the Newcastle coaches, which leave Central Station at 6am and return in the evening.

To reserve places - £25 waged, £10 unwaged/students - please call or email Tony Dowling: 07719 946 814 or toe.knee.dowling@gmail.com

Making a donation

Anyone who is unable to attend the demonstration but wants to make a contribution can do so. Cheques should be made payable to 'Coalition of Resistance Tyne and Wear' and sent c/o: 8 Greenlea Close, High Spen, Rowlands Gill, Tyne & Wear. NE39 2DW

All donations, however large or small, will be helpful. Thank you in advance.

Show your trade union's support

There will be countless union banners on the march, representing every union in the country and every area. If you are a trade union member we recommend you ask your union branch if you can take the union banner. We will be able to store them on the coaches safely. Also, everyone is of course welcome to make and bring their own placards or banners.
